A. With 511, you are able to control when and how you receive traffic information. Also, you can be sure you are receiving up-to-the-minute news.


Q. How often is the information updated?
A. The web site maps are updated every 5 minutes.

A. The basic features of the 511 phone and jax511.com web services will be available in late 2006. New features will be added over time based on user feedback. Click here to give us your ideas.

A. No, the cameras transmit in real-time only.


Q. Why aren’t there cameras and message signs on certain roadways?
A. Cameras and message signs are installed on the roads with the highest traffic volumes.  We continually study traffic patterns to determine where to plan and fund additions to the system.
